Google has jumped into the browser game by offering their own browser called Chrome. As you'd expect, it's free, open-sourced, and offers all sorts of cool features. They seem to be focusing on tab usage and how the browser works when it is being used for web applications (they remove all of the stuff you don't need in the browser in such cases). It'll remain to be seen how popular the browser is. But it's being released today and Google's servers already can't keep up with the load. That right there says something.
