Making caramel apples for kids

Kids love caramel apples... or anything else dipped in caramel for that matter! But giving a small child a sticky thing to eat that is too big to fit in their mouth can lead to some large sticky messes. The solution? Dip things that are smaller. If you are doing apples, cut them into bite-sized pieces before dipping them in caramel. That way the kids can eat them without having to get the caramel all over their hands. If you want to make an extra special treat, try dipping the caramel coated apple into something like chunks of chocolate or nuts. Yum!
