Share your computer screen

Remote desktop and NetMeeting make it so that you can share your desktops with other users. At least, so long as they have the same type of system as you and they have the correct software installed. There's a lot of over head to getting this set up and working correctly. And if you haven't done the setup ahead of time, you can forget about sharing something quickly with another user.

If you just want to share what's in a browser, there's a lot easier way to do it. screen2 is providing a free service that allows you to share the contents of your browser with any friend you choose. There is no software to install, but you do have to be "register" your friends. But once you do, screen sharing is very easy.

You are right, Screen2 is very easy. I used Screen2.com to watch a video with my friend and it works really fine. There is no need to register! You can put any name you want, so your friend can find you and choose a site to surf together. Thanks for the tip!
