Cleaning pet vomit from carpet
It's gross, but if you have carpet at some point just about every pet will end vomiting on it. When it happens, here's what to do.
- Pick up as much as you can without pressing it into the carpet.
- Cover the stain with a towel, and then let it sit until dry.
- Once the vomit is dry, you can vacuum up most of the stain.
- Get a sponge (not one used for the dishes), and get it wet and soapy. Then rub the remaining stain. Blot with clean towels to remove.
- Let it dry again, and vacuum.
- Repeat as needed.
