Installing OpenOffice extensions

You've found a cool OpenOffice extension that you want to use. You've downloaded the extension, and it's now on your machine. But what next, how do you actually get the extension loaded in OpenOffice?

Here are the steps:

1 - Open OfficeOffice.

2 - In the menu bar, go to "Tools" > "Extension Manager...".

3 - Click the "Add..." button.

4 - When the file browser opens, navigate to the extension you downloaded, it should be a file that ends in ".oxt", select it and then press the "Open" button.

5 - Accept and terms and/or licensing agreements.

That's it, your OpenOffice extension is now installed.
