Synchronize Thunderbird and GMail contacts

Tired of trying to keep your GMail and Thunderbird contacts synchronized manually? You don't have to any more. Thanks to Google's summer of code, there is now a extension to Thunderbird that will automatically sync your contacts in GMail.
