Cleaning hard water mineral stains

To get rid of hard water mineral stains on your toiler, shower, shower glass or other bathroom fixtures, try rubbing the stains with a pumice stone. The stone is harder than the stains, but not so hard that it will remove the enamel coating off your bathroom fixtures. While it does require some elbow grease, you can get rid of the hard water stains without using any chemicals this way.
