clicker dog training

If you are training your dog using a clicker, here's a tip that most people miss. The correct time to click is *when* your dog is doing the behavior you want, not afterwards. Don't worry if your dog stops doing the behavior when they hear the click, keep clicking during the behavior and not after. If you click after the behavior, your dog will have a harder time connecting the click, and the reward, with the behavior.
