Cure for slippery deck stairs

Slippery stairs can be very dangerous. If you have wood deck steps outside your home, these can become very slippery in rainy or snowy conditions. An easy and cheap way to get back some traction is to buy some self-adhesive non-skids strips and stick them onto the deck when it is dry. You can buy these strips at just about any home improvement center, they are cheap, and they are really easy to install -- just peel and stick.
