iCal calenders dissapeared/ wouldnt launch after latest firmware/software update to 10.5.4

Ran the latest updates from Software updater to Mac OS X 10.5.4 (9E17) and my ical wouldn't open stating that I did not have enough access privileges to move my "Calendar Cache".

Went to Library - then Calendars - found the files called Calendar Cache - rather than delete them (scary) I copied them to my desktop.

When tried to open ical again it basically rebuilt the calendars- back up and running to great relief and immediately backed them up!

Tried this but still all I have when I try and launch iCal is nothing happens and there is question mark on the app icon
