Giant Eagle has a deal where you can sign up for one of their "frequent shopper" cards and every time you buy $50 worth of merchandise, you can get $0.10 off a gallon of gas at one of their gas stations. And they let you combine them. So if you spend $150, you can get $0.30 off each gallon of has you buy.

Even better, they sell gift certificates to other stores, like Home Depot, and you can get the discount there too, and it's then double to $0.20 off for each $50 spent. So if you are planning on spending a lot at Home Depot, buy a gift card at Giant Eagle first. They come in denominations of up to $500 and buying one that big gets you $2.00 of each gallon of gas you buy. The one hitch is you have to plan ahead. With the Home Depot gift cards they use, you have to wait 24 hours after you buy it before it can be used. But if you can plan ahead, this is a great way to save a lot of money on gas if you are already planning on buying some big items at Home Depot.
