painting pressboard

Lot's of cheap paint-it-yourself furniture is made with pressboard that you can then paint. To get the best results when painting pressboard you should use a oil-based primer on the pressboard itself and then follow this up with a latex paint. This will provide a finish that is durable, good looking, and easy to clean.
