Quickly emailing links on a Mac

On the Mac you can quickly email a link by clicking on the icon to the left of the URL in the address bar and dragging it onto the Mail application icon on the Dock. When you do this it will create a new email for you and the body of the email will contain a link to the page. I tried this with both Firefox and Safari and it worked on both.
