Keep your computer running cooler
With summer time here, your computer will probably start running hotter unless you are in a well air-conditioned building. Increased heat in your computer can put additional stress on your components which can then lead to failure. To keep your computer running cooler, have at it with a vacuum cleaner. Turn off your computer and unplug it. Then vacuum all of the vents and holes that you see. This will reduce the dust in your computer that blocks airflow and reduces cooling. If you have a desktop machine and you know how to take the box apart, do so and vacuum out the insides being careful not to touch anything inside directly with the vacuum cleaner. Getting all of the dust out of your computer is an easy way to keep it running cooler and extend the life of your components.
