zinio labs offers a service that allows you to read current issues of many popular magazines on-line for free. The only hitch: you need to be using an iPhone or an iPod touch. If you are, you can just go here (http://www.zinio.com/iphone) and start reading magazines.

If you want to read the magazines on your regular computer browser, you can still do so. You just need to make your browser look like an iPhone. There are a bunch of ways to do this, but probably the easiest is by using Safari.

From within Safari, go to Edit > Preferences > Advanced and check the "Show Develop menu in menu bar" option (if you don't already have the Develop menu in Safari). Once you have the Develop menu, go there and select User Agent -> Mobile Safari 1.1.3 - iPhone (or whatever the most recent iPhone user agent is) and your Safari will then look like an iPhone. You can then go to http://www.zinio.com/iphone and read all of the magazines like you are on an iPhone.

Don't forget to reset your user agent back to "Default" when you are done or else you'll get the iPhone version of sites as you surf the web.
