Create a shortcut for the snipping tool in vista
The snipping tool in Vista makes it really easy to take screen shots. But for some reason, there is no keyboard shortcut. If you use the snipping tool a lot this gets old real fast. If you want to create a shortcut yourself here's what you need to do.
Open the Start Menu and go to All Programs > Accessories and then right-click on the Snipping Tool application. From the menu that opens, select Properties. You'll see a entry for the keyboard shortcut that will be empty. Just put your mouse over this and then hit the keyboard shortcut you want to use for the Snipping Tool.
Once done, save you changes and you'll have a keyboard shortcut for the snipping tool. Of course, you can use this process for other applications that you want to add keyboard shortcuts for also.
