VMWare Fusion performance

To get the best performance out of VMWare Fusion on your Mac, run the 64-bit version of the guest operating system you are using (Windows or Linux). Using the 64-bit version of the operating system will allow VMWare to use Intel's hardware extensions for the core virtualization engine and this will greater speed up your emulation.
