Cool your home cheaply

Energy prices are going up, up, up. How can you save money and still keep your home cool this summer?

Try solar powered fans. Fans are perfect for solar power because they're powered by the sun, so the highest fan speed usually coincides with the time when air flow is needed the most.

There are many kinds of solar powered fans. Attic fans are especially effective. Your attic becomes like a furnace and a fan can keep it cool. A cool attic means a cooler house. There are also solar powered vents. These are small fans that you can use to reduce condensation and heat build-up in your boat, RV, camper, or van. I know someone who even installed a solar powered fan in his doghouse!
