Toasting nuts

If you have a recipe that calls for toasted nuts, here's the quickest way to turn your untoasted nuts into toasted nuts.

- Preheat the oven to 350 F.

- Spread you nuts on a cookies sheet that has sides on it. Do *not* use a cookie sheet without sides. Often cookies sheets will twist when they get hot. And if this happens without sides, the nuts will fall off the pan into the bottom of the oven and this can start a fire. Very bad.

- Bake the nuts for 10 minutes.

- Remove from the oven and place the nuts on towels (paper or otherwise) to cool.

Just like that you'll safely have toasted nuts.
