Less greasy pepperoni pizza

If you are making your own pizza and using pepperoni, here's a trick you can use so that you don't get a bunch of grease all over your pizza from the pepperoni.

Take your pepperoni slices and lay them out flat on a couple of pieces of paper towel. Cover with a couple other pieces of paper towel. Then put it in the microwave and cook for 30 seconds. Let sit for 5 minutes, then cook for 30 seconds again. Let sit for another 5 minutes.

You'll find that you now have some very greasy paper towel. Pre-cooking the pepperoni like this really gets rid of a lot of the grease so that it doesn't end up all over your pizza. You can also pre-cook the pepperoni like this if you are using it in other recipes where you don't want all the grease.
