Create calendar events while reading GMail

If you are reading your mail in GMail and you want to create an event in your Google calendar, there is a link to do this in GMail. Just go up to the "More Actions", and select "Create event" from the pulldown menu, like this...

Once you select this option, a new window will pop-up where you can enter the information for a new event in your Google calendar.
