Removing grass stains from clothes
To remove grass stains from clothes, I have had like with the following procedure (but only use it on washable items)...
1) Get a powered enzyme laundry detergent (no, not Tide).
2) Create a paste with the detergent by adding a small amount of warm water.
3) Apply the paste to the stain and allow it to sit for 30 minutes.
4) Rinse off the paste.
5) If the stain is gone, great. If not, apply a solution of one-part vinegar to two-parts water to the stain and blot the stain (do not run). Use a very small amount of this solution.
This should get rid of the stain. For the paste and the vinegar solution, make sure to test it on an inconspicuous area first to make sure it does not affect the color.
