Backing up your PS3

It's pretty easy to back up the stuff on your PS3. You can back up your photos, music, videos, and saved games (most of them, some games are protected from copying and can't be backed up).

To back up specific saved games on your PS3, here is the process.

1) On the cross media bar (XMB), go to the Game section, then go to Game Saves.

2) Insert your memory stick.

3) Navigate to the saved game backup, highlight it, and then hit the triangle button.

4) Choose the Copy option from the menu.

If you want to do a ful system backup of your PS3 which includes all saved games, music, video, and photos, here's the process.

1) From the XMB, go to System, then Settings, then System Settings, then Backup Utility and lastly select Back Up.

2) Insert your memory stick and then select it to receive the backup.
