Be prepared in case of an accident

Sometimes in a car accident a couple really handy tools can be the critical life or death difference. These tools are the Belt Buckle Knife and the Kubaton.

Especially in a roll over accident the seat belt can become a problem. The release can become innaccessible. If you are in this position a knife in your pocket is innaccessible. A belt buckle knife is easy to reach even when sitting. Basically you can get to it wherever you are

The other thing you might consider is a kubaton

Also called a Yawara stick. This can be essential if you need to break a window to escape.

Both of these can be great self defense weapons if needed. Carry the kubaton in your hand when going to your car in a dark parking lot. That way your not fumbling for your keys and you have a very easy to use weapon at your disposal if needed.

I keep a tool called "Res-Q-Me" in my glove box for this. It's a combination seat belt cutter and spring-loaded window punch, so it does the job of both of these tools. But in one little package.
