Using Quick Look in the FinderI just stumbled across a cool new way to use Quick Look in the Finder. My guess is this is common knowledge and I'm just the last to realize it. But in case I'm next-to-last to realize it, here's a tip for the last person out there.
As I already knew, you can use Quick Look in the Finder by highlighting a file, or a bunch of files, and pressing the space bar on the keyboard. The two new things I found out are: 1 - This works on the Desktop too. You can highlight icons on the desktop, hit the space bar, and you'll see them in Quick Look. 2 - Once you have Quick Look open, you can highlight other files, and they will replace the current file in Quick Look. You can do this by using either the keyboard or the mouse. For example, if Quick Look is open looking at a file in the Finder, I can use the arrow keys to scroll through files in the Finder and as I scroll, the file being shown in Quick Look is updated. Like I said, everyone probably already knows these tricks. But I've been using Leopard for half a year and I just stumbled on them today.
