Increase your iPod volume

If you want to increase the maximum volume on your iPod, goPod is a firmware download for the iPod that will allow you to do this. It works for most generations of iPods, and across most computer platforms.

Of course, I don't recommend using this increased volume level with ear phones since the higher volume can lead to hearing loss. But if you are plugging your iPod into an external device, sometimes this extra volume capability is really handy.
