Leaving dogs in cars
Now that summertime is approaching, more people will be taking their dogs out on walks, and out in the car. It's very important to remember that you should never leave your dog, or other pet, in your car alone. In the summer, a car can heat up very quickly even when it is not that warm outside. Even at 70F, a car can heat up inside to over 100F. This can kill your dog. If you are planning on taking your dog somewhere in the car, plan your trip so that you will not be running errands as part of the trip. Make sure you bring your dog home first.
