LCD tv or Plasma - Take your pick

Here are some of the pro's and con's of each

-Plasma

Plasma are bigger and use more power.

Plasma television deliver a better viewing angle than the LCD TV at which angle one can view a blurred picture only in LCD TV.

Nothing equates to a plasma display. They're 4 to 5 times brighter than conventional television system and bear superior contrast ratios. Contrast ratios assess how white is white, and how black is black. A ratio of 1000:1 (which is preferred) signifies white is depicted a thousand times brighter than black.

Plasma television system have thin, wall-mountable designs, which make more effective use of whatever space.

-Lcd

A few younger LCDs have 1080 x 1920 resolution, most plasmas still in the 720 x 1250 range.

Plasma is also expensive to repair and will be obsolete in 2 years.
Opposed to plasma displays, LCD television sets aren't susceptible to burn in. In fact, LCDs excel at displaying static images.

Liquid crystal display televisions could in addition double as a computer monitor. All 3 technologies are capable of this, but plasma's burn in pull through as a poor choice.
