Trapster is a social networking service that helps you and others avoid speed traps -- either police setting up speed traps, or automated ticketing mechanism like photo red light. It uses your GPS-enable cell phone to tell you when you are approaching an area where traffic enforcement is currently taking place. If you see an enforcement taking place (either automated red light, or police writing tickets), you can text Trapster to let them know, and then others will be alerted when you are in the area. If enough people start using this service so that it stays up to date, this could be a really good way to avoid traffic tickets aside from driving legally of course :)
