Filling jars when canning

When canning or making homemade jelly or jam, try using a gravy boat when it is time to fill the jars. The long handle makes it easy to dip the gravy boat into the hot liquid without burning yourself. And the spout makes it easy to pour the contents into the jars without spilling.
