Changing answering options on the RAZR
If you get a RAZR phone, one of the annoying this about it is that by default it is set so that when you get a phone call, the call is automatically answered when you flip open your phone. I don't like this since I like to open my phone and see all the contact info before I decide if I want to answer the call or not. If you don't want your RAZR to answer the call when it is opened, you can change this behavior. Here's how to do it with Verizon RAZR (not sure if it's exactly the same for other carriers or not).
Go to the Menu on your phone, and then go to Settings & Tools. Select Call Settings, and then choose the In-Call Setup option and then select Answer Options. You will then see an option called Open to Answer, press Change and you will be able to toggle this behavior on and off.
If you set this behavior to be off so that your RAZR does not answer the phone when it is opened, to answer calls you need to open your phone and then press Send button to answer calls.
