Change Adobe Reader default page layout
If you use Adobe Reader a lot and you have a preferred page layout (I prefer using the Two-Up layout since I have a wide screen display), you can customize Adobe Reader so that it always opens PDF documents in your preferred layout instead of the layout used when they were saved. Here's how.
In Adobe Reader, go to the menu bar and select "Edit" and then "Preferences". Under "Categories", select "Page Display". Look for the "Default Layout and Zoom" section on the right and then change the "Page Layout" selection to be the value that you want. Click the "OK" button and you'll be set. Next time you start Adobe Reader, it'll open the PDF using your preferred layout.
