Creating a taskbar shortcut to any directory
If you want to create a shortcut to a directory in your Windows Vista Taskbar, here are the steps to do it. It's pretty simple to do, but if you go to the same directory in Windows Explorer a lot, this is really handy to have.
1 - In a blank area of the taskbar, right-click the mouse and select "Toolbars" and then "New Toolbar...".
2 - When the new toolbar dialog opens, you can navigate to the directory that you want on the taskbar. Once you navigate to the target directory, click on the "Select Folder" button.
That's all there is to it. Once you do that, the directory name will show up in your taskbar. Click on it and it'll open windows explorer with that directory opened.
