It allows you to highlight text on web pages and then bookmark them. When you come back to the bookmark, or share that bookmark with others who are using the Awesome Highlighter, the text that you highlighted is shown as, well, highlighted. This makes it really easy to draw your, or others, attention to the part of the page that you think is worth looking at.
