Sending SMS through email
Most cell phone providers offer a way so that people can send you SMS through their email. If you want to teach your parents how to send SMS, this is by far the easiest way. All they need to do is send an email to the following address (based on who your carrier is). If you don't see your carrier listed and you know how to do this, add it to the comments please.
In all of these cases, have the person sending you the SMS replace 10-digit-phonenumber with your actual 10-digit phone number
