Save $120-$180/year on your Cable/Dish bill by using a HDTV antenna.
The DB4 HDTV antenna
Did you know that if you opt to receive your local HDTV channels through your Dish or cable company like Directv or Dish Network your not only paying on average $10-$15/month more... you are loosing the quality of your picture also! When HD digital signals are sent to your HDTV via your Dish or cable company other than a HDTV antenna they are in a "compressed" state. The reason being is that a "true" HD signal in it's purest form has too large a bandwidth for cable or satellite companies to handle. So "they" compress the signal to accommodate all the other channels they offer you through their service! To make things worse, every time your provider adds channels to your service in the future, they will have to compress your local digital signals a little every time!!! So the problem just gets worse! I bet a lot of you didn't know that!!!... I didn't!
I found out all this information from this gentleman's website I visited. I've listed it in my "Resources" section below. It's also where I learned and purchased what's becoming the most popular HDTV antenna sold in the country! Very informative site! I purchased the DB4 HDTV antenna as shown!
