Firefox Gmail shortcut

If you use Firefox, a quick shortcut to Gmail (even shorter than a bookmark) using the keyboard is to type the letter g into the address bar and hit Enter. Boom. You're at Gmail.

I just tried this and it worked for me.

it works not as a firefox custom gmail feature but it searchs the DNS for most popular websites starting with 'G', albeit google is the most popular, gmail would be 2nd and since typing in the address bar IS a google search, FF forgoes google and goes straight to the next best alternative, i.e. gmail.
