If you want to quickly go backwards and forwards in your browser, there is an easier keyboard shortcut than the one advertised in the menu bar. If you look at the command in the pull-down menu, you'll see the Alt+[ and Alt+] (Command instead of Alt if you are on a Mac) can be used to go backwards and forward in the browser history. But who can remember that? There is a far more intuitive way to do this from the keyboard, instead of using the bracket keys, use the left and right arrow keys. They do the same thing when holding down Alt (Command for the Mac) and it is a lot easier to remember
