Watering plants started in the house

When watering new seedlings soak the pot in a container where you could put water about a half inch high. Let the pot sit in the water for about 20 minutes and then remove the pot from the water. You may want to check to see that the plants didn't drink up all the water if it did add some more water. This allows the water to soak up through the dirt & encourages the roots to grow deeper in the pots. This also keeps you from "drowning" small seedlings.
