Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) affects up to 20% of the population, and keeps many people in digestive distress. Many people with IBS mistakenly think that by eating more fiber they will improve their situation. This is not completely true. What is really needed to help with IBS is more soluble fiber; insoluble fiber can actually make your IBS worse and it should be avoided if you are suffereing from IBS.
