Taking a screengrab (print screen) on OSX

If you are a Mac convert from Windows you may be wondering where the Print Screen button is. Well, there isn't one. However, you can take a screengrab by holding down COMMAND and SHIFT, and pressing 3. This will save your screengrab as a jpg to the desktop.

Even cooler, if you hold down COMMAND and SHIFT, and press 4, you get a crosshairs so you can select exactly the area of the screen you want. This also saves your screengrab to the desktop.

The Grab application located in the Utilities folder in Applications will do the same job, and offers some extra features such as delay.
