Customize Firefox for faster bookmarks
There's a cool customization trick you can do in Firefox to get to your bookmarks quicker, you can actually configure it so that you can type a snippet of text into the address bar and get taken directly to a bookmark.
To do this, go to Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks (that's what it is on a Mac, it may be slightly different on a PC).
Once you see the bookmark for which you want to create the shortcut, click on it.
You can then right-click and select the Properties option, or you can select the Properties command at the top of the screen.
This will pop up a properties window for this bookmark. One of the options in the window is called Keyword. Enter some text in here, the shorter the better.
Now close everything up and get back to the browser. If you them go to the address bar (where it shows the URL) and enter the keyword text that you entered previously, you'll be taken to that bookmark.
