Dyson DC07 vacuum will not turn on
Today my Dyson DC07 vacuum appeared to die while I was using it. After calling Dyson, it turns out that this is a temporary problem designed to protect the engine.
What happened was that the tube got clogged, so the engine had to work harder. This led to the engine getting hot. I guess they have a sensor of some sort, and when it gets too hot, it shuts itself down. So if this happens to you, here's what to do.
1 - Look for the clog in the hose and remove it.
2 - Wait. According to Dyson, it can take a couple hours for the vacuum to reset itself. There is no reset button, so you just have to wait for it to cool down.
