Washing cashmere

If you need to wash cashmere, always handwash it in cool to warm water (never use hot water on cashmere) water using a mild detergent like Woolite. Do not add fabric softeners to the water. Wash gently and never allow it to soak for more than 5 minutes. Once done, never wring out your cashmere; lay it out flat on a towel to dry and keep it away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
