Keep milk from burning
If you are heating up milk on the stove top, it's really easy to burn the milk in your pan. To keep this from happening, you need to keep stirring the milk. But if I leave it for a minute, it seems that I always burn the milk. A friend gave me a great tip to keep milk from burning when you are heating it up. Get some clean marbles, about 10 will do for a normal sauce pan, and put them in the pan with the milk. Once the milk heats up, the marbles will get agitated and move about just like you are doing the stirring.
