Divisibilty Rules for Division by 9
Here's how to tell if a given number is divisible by 9:
This one is similar to the rule for 3... add up the digits in the number. If the sum is divisible by 9, then the number itself is divisible by 9.
For example, 41112 => 4 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 9. Since 9 is divisible by 9, 41112 is divisible by 9.
