Extend the life of your cell phone battery
If you want to extend the life of your cell phone battery, turn off your phone if you are in an area with no, or a poor, signal. When you have a bad signal, or no signal at all, your cell phone will constantly be looking for a better connection. And all of this searching chews up your battery very quickly, it'll be dead in a matter of hours if you don't turn it off.
