Want a blog? Well, it's pretty easy to get one. Your first stop is to check out http://www.blogger.com and http://www.livejournal.com - two free blogging community sites that offer free blogs within their community.
If you'd rather have your own blog site, then you'll need to decide what software to use. The most popular now is probably WordPress (http://www.wordpress.org). It's based on PHP and MySQL, and completely free. Then find a good place to host your blog that supports PHP and MySQL, install the software - and you're off to the races!
