When make airline reservations, always look at the available schedule for the entire day on the route you are traveling. Whenever possible, do *not* take the last flight of the day. If this flight gets canceled, is too late, or has mechanical trouble, you have no backup plan since there are no later flights. I always try to schedule my flights so that there is at least one additional flight after mine. That way if something happens, I have the chance of still making it to my destination on that day.
