toggle between applications windows quickly on the Mac

I just learned this trick for toggling between open windows of the same application of the Mac. Hold down the Command key and hit ~ (the tilde key, usually to the left of number 1). If you do this and you are in an application that has multiple windows open, this will rotate through the open windows.

Hi, with a french qwerty keybord on a MacBook Pro this do not apply since ~ key is combined with the Alt key.

So I found the shorcut key under Finder -> Window menu:
Command key + `

this work like a charm ^^

You are a genius!!! I recently switched over to using a mac and it was making me crazy that I couldn't tab through my windows in a single application. All I could do was tab through applications. You are amazing!!! I love shortcuts!!!!!

Thank you VERY MUCH. I just switched from MS Office (PC) and keep thinking I am going to find something that I gave up in Office and really miss it, but tips like this keep me satisfied with Mac and iWork.

Greatness! I've been looking for a whole year on how to toggle between open windows in an application. Thank you very much! Perhaps there's a way to select a certain window that may be open instead of having to rotate through all open ones?
